Who are we?
實驗室簡介
歡迎來到嬰幼兒語音研究室 (Infant Vocalization Lab)。
本實驗室旨在探討0-2歲之華語嬰幼兒語言習得的歷程軌跡。
我們相信透過簡單的成人訓練，每個人都能夠聽辨出嬰兒不同階段的語音類型。
我們所使用的理論基礎為Dr. Kimbrough Oller教授歷經40多年來的研究所得出的假設。
By using infraphonological properties, defined in terms of physical properties of sounds to describe infant vocalizations, we provide a theoretical framework for comparison across languages and even species as well as for building our understanding of infant sounds on the capabilities of real speech perceivers. Because humans are intuitive judges of their species-specific vocalizations, they, without consciously knowing the universal characteristics of syllables in terms of acoustic parameters, can accurately sense whether infants’ sounds are canonical.
本研究室於2017年於台灣私立中山醫學大學語聽系正式成立，
第一個兩年期科技部計畫案題目「用LENA全天家庭錄音觀察嬰幼兒的語音發展」
(MOST 107-2410-H-040 -001 -MY2)於2021年正式結案，
研究期間共納入了10位華語嬰幼兒的長期觀察語音資料，旨在探究華語正常發展之嬰兒的典型喃語發展。
此計畫案的執行歷經重重關卡，從一開始從美國採購LENA錄音機（由計劃主持人親自帶回台灣），
至後來疫情因素使得月子中心的媽媽教室暫停（個案收錄卡關），令人慶幸的是，我們熬過來了！
